# HeyLook Privacy Policy

Welcome to **HeyLook** ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal information, and the rights you have.

Please read it before using the app. If you do not agree, do not use HeyLook.

## 1. Age Restriction (18+)

HeyLook is for people who are **at least 18 years old** (or the age of majority where you live).
- Registration requires an 18+ confirmation. The age control cannot be set below 18.
- If we learn an account belongs to a minor, we will delete the account and related data.

## 2. Information We Collect and Why

We collect only what is needed for weather-based styling, community features, direct messages, and friend video calls:

### 2.1 Account and profile
- **Identifiers**: Sign in with Apple provides an Apple user identifier and, if you share it, an email (or Apple Private Relay email).
- **Profile**: Nickname, avatar, city/country, age confirmation, and optional bio or style tags you enter.
- **Purpose**: Account creation, sign-in, profile display, and account security.

### 2.2 Weather and location
- **City preference**: If you allow When-In-Use location, we use it only to resolve a city for weather. You can also pick country and city manually in Settings.
- **Purpose**: Local temperature and conditions for outfit suggestions.
- **Note**: We do not continuously track precise GPS in the background, and we do not show a precise address to other users. Community items may show a city name and weather label only.

### 2.3 Community and user-generated content
- **Public content**: Posts, photos, captions, comments, likes, saves, and follow relationships you create.
- **Purpose**: Community display and interaction. Content you publish is visible to other users.

### 2.4 Messaging and live video
- **Direct messages**: You can send text messages to other users without becoming friends, unless that user is blocked.
- **Audio/video**: 1-on-1 live video is available only after a mutual friend connection.
- **Purpose**: Instant communication. We do not record or archive private calls unless required by law.

### 2.5 Virtual goods (Sparks)
- **Purchase records**: For In-App Purchases of Sparks, we process Apple transaction IDs, timestamps, and receipts to credit your balance and prevent fraud.
- **Note**: We never collect card numbers or payment passwords. Sparks are used only to generate outfit recommendations after free trials are used.

## 3. Device Permissions

Turning a permission off disables that feature only.

## 4. Community Safety, Reporting, and Blocking

To meet App Store Guideline 1.2 and keep the community safe:
1. Pornography, harassment, hate, violence, scams, and IP infringement are not allowed.
2. You can **Report** a post, comment, or user. We review reports and remove violating content.
3. You can **Block** a user. Blocking immediately hides their posts, comments, messages, and call entry points. Blocked accounts can be managed in Settings.

## 5. Storage, Security, and Third Parties

1. Data in transit uses HTTPS/TLS.
2. We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes in this policy.
3. Necessary third parties include Apple Sign In and In-App Purchase, image caching, the real-time media channel, and Adjust after you grant tracking. We do not use your content to train third-party general AI models.

## 6. Your Rights and Account Deletion

- **Access and correction**: Edit nickname, avatar, and city in **Me**.
- **Withdraw consent**: Change location, camera, photos, microphone, notifications, or tracking in iOS Settings.
- **Delete account**: Go to **Me → Privacy, permissions & account → Account → Delete local account**. This deletes the server account and local data on this device and cannot be undone.

We may update this policy when the product or the law changes. Material updates will be shown in the app.
